Do I have to use Classic Collision if my insurance recommends them?
No. In Texas you choose who repairs your car. Your insurance company can recommend a shop, but the Texas Insurance Code says it can't limit your coverage because you picked your own, and it can't tell you that you must use a particular shop, or one on its preferred list, for the repair to be covered. You can bring your car to Astro Collision instead.
Is Astro Collision part of Classic Collision?
No. Both names end in "Collision," but Astro Collision is a separate body shop at 9590 FM 1960 W, Houston, TX 77070. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Classic Collision.
Will choosing Astro Collision affect my claim or my coverage?
No. Choosing a shop doesn't change your policy or your coverage. Your insurance company still handles the claim under the same policy. The only thing that changes is who fixes your car.
Does Astro Collision work with my insurance company?
